BLEND JurorsJIM FISHER
Jim Fisher studied architecture at the University of Minnesota and is currently a residential real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Burnet in Minneapolis. Jim’s work focuses mainly on homes in the neighborhoods of southwest Minneapolis where he lives with his wife Mary, and sports-obsessed boys, Charlie and Jack. MEG ARNOSTI, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT Meg Arnosti is a Landscape Architect with Southview Design. She is passionate about creating customized landscapes that are suited to each client and their own special site. Meg has designed and overseen the installation of everything from small perennial gardens to large projects with new driveways, courtyards, walkways, fireplaces, waterfalls, underground drainage, patios, fences, pools and walls. Meg has a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota and is a Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional and licensed Landscape Architect. She lives in the Mac/Groveland neighborhood in St. Paul with husband, Don, and has three grown children. MEGAN KAPLAN Megan Kaplan is a lifestyle writer and editor based in Minneapolis. Her portfolio includes stories on design, food, fashion, travel, etiquette, and parenting for national publications such as The New York Times, Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple, Travel + Leisure, and Town + Country. Locally, Megan is a contributing editor at Mpls St. Paul magazine, and has provided creative consulting and corporate writing work for 3M, General Mills, and Target. |

Megan Kaplan is a lifestyle writer and editor based in Minneapolis. Her portfolio includes stories on design, food, fashion, travel, etiquette, and parenting for national publications such as The New York Times, Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple, Travel + Leisure, and Town + Country. Locally, Megan is a contributing editor at Mpls St. Paul magazine, and has provided creative consulting and corporate writing work for 3M, General Mills, and Target. WILLIAM WEBER William Weber is a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Sustainable Building Research (CSBR) and Lecturer at the School of Architecture at the University of Minnesota. Weber holds a Bachelors of Arts in Architecture, and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Minnesota. Weber's research focuses on the integration of sustainability and architecture through applied research, exploring and developing tools to evaluate and compare the often disparate aesthetic, economic, and environmental goals. Weber is committed to ecological and environmental literacy education in Minnesota and serves on the board of two area non-profits; Minnesota GreenStar, a regional standard and certification program for new and existing homes in Minnesota, and Sitelines, an educational program for youth to promote engagement and participate in the public decision-making process. |
